The word is getting out: you don’t have to settle for yellow water anymore!
That’s what Water Depot’s clients are telling anyone who will listen about the difference between untreated – or improperly treated – water and a customized, expertly installed treatment and filtration system.
Whether it’s a home on a lake, a riverfront cottage, a rural place on a drilled well, or even a golf course needing a complete water treatment system, their team has the expertise and equipment to get the job done right.
One client, Larry Black, says the water they draw on is very high in tannins and iron. He called Eric Dube, who along with Nicole Blanchet, owns Water Depot locations in Bracebridge, Barrie, Wasaga Beach.
Larry’s system is a complex one, with two iron filters, a tannin filter, a pH filter, and a water softener. Eric and his team installed everything, and then kept in touch to perform the fine-tuning needed to get the system running smoothly.
When an issue arose, Water Depot resolved it – including replacing all the filters at no extra charge and extending the warranty for a year.
“He stood by his word on everything,” says Larry. “It’s something you don’t hear of too much these days. The other thing that impresses me is that I get a return call – often that day. He’s very service oriented.”
It’s working now and Larry says, only half-joking, “if I didn’t have this system, my wife wouldn’t live here.”
Golf course system
Though the majority of the company’s calls are for residential properties, they recently completed a larger-scale project at Öviinbyrd Golf Club.
The Club updated their entire water treatment system – a complex and at times challenging project – to give their exclusive private club the cleanest, clearest and safest water possible. This included an all-new filtration system, updated UV lights, chlorination systems, and much more.
“It’s basically the same thing as a small municipal system,” says Jerry Carter, Equipment Manager and Water Treatment Operator from Öviinbyrd.
“We have heavy tannins in the water source here, which can be difficult to treat.”
Eric and his employee Dave worked tirelessly to find a solution to the tannins. It took a while, but they did it.
As well, a Reverse Osmosis system was installed in the main Clubhouse building and services all on-course water refilling stations.
Concerned it wouldn’t handle the volume they needed, Jerry messaged Eric. The next day a Water Depot team member put in a second system at no extra charge to ensure the volume would meet the Club’s requirements.
“If he runs into a problem, he’s there until he figures it out,” says Jerry. “Their services are exceptional and the quality of our water has never been better.”
