One of the most iconic destinations in Port Carling is now accepting reservations to meet the needs of its guests.
Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill has long been the place to go for a relaxing atmosphere, high-quality dishes, and refreshing beverages – and to take in the views. Cottagers and visitors alike know that the restaurant at the northernmost end of Lake Muskoka is an essential part of summer.
Now, for the first time in their history, reservations can be made for indoor dining, says owner Jim Lishman.
“Our popularity continues to grow year after year, and one thing our loyal guests kept asking for was reservations,” says Benjamin Devlin, Director of Operations, who has been with the company for 15 years. “Our goal is to keep our guests happy with great food, beverages, and service. And this helps us do that even better than ever.”
Making a reservation is just a few clicks away: just visit the Turtle Jack’s website and go to the Port Carling location’s page. There will also be a waitlist feature if the tables are all booked.
They have also renovated a portion of the restaurant to create a private event space with a cocktail and dining area, complete with patio access for group gatherings.
“It’s a memorable way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, special occasion, or just get together with a group of friends in your own private room,” says Benjamin. “You can enjoy the intimate atmosphere and still get all the best Turtle Jack’s has to offer.”
Open daily at 11 a.m., the Port Carling location is known for always keeping their menu fresh and interesting. Classic menu items include steak, ribs, burgers, bowls, wraps, wings, and more – always with the freshest ingredients and a Turtle Jack’s flare.

Meanwhile, the foodies will love the blackened chicken on naan, tuna taco, yellow coconut curry, pineapple mango salmon, or other delectable offers.
The Port Carling location is the only Turtle Jack’s with a stone pizza oven, and they feature some delicious styles of pizza, including a classic margherita and a Buffalo chicken.
“We’re always evolving our menu while maintaining the comfort food our guests have come to love,” says Benjamin. “Stop by and see why we’re such a must-visit destination.”
Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill has 20 locations throughout Ontario, and a new location opening in Okanagan, BC this summer, giving their Port Carling visitors the opportunity to feel like they’re at the cottage when they’re at home in the city.
“We all want to have that cottage feeling, no matter where we are,” says Benjamin.
