Scandinave Spa

Spa experience taken to new levels

Relaxation and rejuvenation have been consistently prescribed by medical professionals to combat the stressful impacts of the pandemic.

To better help their guests achieve these essential results, Scandinave Spa has reimagined the way they operate. And many of these changes have turned out to be just a better way of operating, says Mylisa Henderson, Co-Owner and Director of Marketing and Sales at Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain.

The outdoor Baths, for example, are now available by reservation. Staff and guests alike say this is a vast improvement over the old system: no more waiting in line in the hopes of getting in when you want. As well, the staff are fully prepared to offer the best possible experience to everyone who visits.

“Guests are now guaranteed that they’re going to be able to check in when they arrive and that the process is smooth and relaxing,” says Mylisa. “Ultimately, we want to provide an easy escape, a place for people to spend a few hours recuperating and unwinding.”

With necessary protocols in place, Scandinave Spa provides safe, enjoyable outdoor amenities at their large facility. They are open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., allowing guests to pick and choose their favourite time of day to visit. Spur-of-the-moment visits are still welcome via a daily wait list, of course, subject to availability.

“We’ve added a rolling four-week calendar for people to be able to book their Baths visit in advance,” says Mylisa, adding that massages can be booked as much as four months in advance.

Spa at Home
Scandinave Spa has also introduced “spa essential” packages, allowing guests to enjoy a spa-like atmosphere at home or have as a reminder of their amazing visit. Items such as tote bags, candles and tea are available for curbside pick-up, or can be pre-ordered for use during a Scandinave Spa visit.

“You can book your Baths visit and massage, but you can also make sure that you have other spa comforts,” says Mylisa. A new summer escape package includes a tote bag, a reusable water bottle, a sun hat, and candle. It even includes a cool-down sun spray for after your visit.

“Just essential things that make people feel a little more pampered while they’re here.”

The only thing left for the Scandinave Spa guests is to sit back and relax, just like the doctor ordered.
