We spend so much of our lives in bed, and the quality of our sleep affects everything we do.
There’s a lot of well-meaning sleep advice floating on the Internet – like don’t be on your blue screens after 8 pm, have a hot bath and some chamomile tea, make sure your bedroom is dark or turn on some white noise – but rarely is one of the most important factors taken into consideration. Do you have a mattress that properly supports you and gives you the comfort you need to enjoy a deep and rejuvenating sleep?
Luckily, there are actually people out there who do the research, testing the best sleep conditions and leaving you to simply appreciate the end result. “Our focus is your sleep,” says Michelle Lozzi, co-owner of Rest Five Luxury Sleep System.
A registered massage therapist by vocation, Michelle knows her way around back issues, comfort, and the importance of a quality mattress. “It’s taken time to design our Signature Collection. There are so many variables that must be considered when constructing a mattress. Our fundamental principle is quality—we don’t sacrifice that for the bottom line,” she says.
“Our customers deserve a mattress that can support them in the ways of comfort and longevity. That is why we have chosen high quality foams and added features like copper-infused thread to provide antimicrobial protection and other health benefits like advanced circulation.”
Rest Five is an online business, but Michelle understands the challenges of ordering a mattress online, so they put together a showroom at 172 Chrislea Road in Vaughan. “We are thrilled when people want to see the mattress. It is something we encourage.”
Online businesses can often result in the loss of a one-on-one connection with people, but Rest Five did their best to circumvent that issue. “We are your modern-day hybrid online business. We maintain important fundamentals like speaking and connecting with customers. We want our business to have a personality, not just be a keyword.”
If you’re looking for a transition bed for children or something for a spare room, Rest Five also offers their foam three-layer Carbon Collection as a great economic option.
Brand Ambassador for the company is Toronto race car driver Daniel Morad who swears by the Rest Five mattress. “He’s a high-performance athlete who pushes the limits of his body and, as a result, for many years he has had back issues without resolution,” says Michelle. “He jumped into his Rest Five and has rid himself of his back pain.”
Cottagers can enjoy the same benefits, she says. “Enjoy Muskoka, and leave the rest to us.”
