Kubota North

Excellent service keeps machines running when you need them

As communities and travel options open up, you may not be spending as much time working around the house or cottage as you have the last couple of years. That can mean that lawn tractors and other power equipment have been sitting.

If you have quality equipment, you can probably just start it and get back to work. But that doesn’t mean you should.

“It’s important to get regular seasonal maintenance on all your equipment, whether it’s for summer or winter use,” says Pam Medland, general manager of Kubota North. “That helps keep it in the best possible condition for years.”

That means ensuring that oil, fuel, and other fluids are fresh, filters are clean, and no hoses or wires have been nibbled by rodents while it’s been in storage. Even the best machines in the world need regular maintenance.

“If you haven’t turned your machine on in a while, it’s a good idea to have us look it over.”

The team at Kubota North knows that professionals and homeowners alike need quality, working equipment.

It’s why their service standards match the top-of-the-line, world renowned equipment they sell. With new service manager Wes Donald on board, as well as two fully equipped service trucks, they are well-prepared for all their clients’ needs.

“Our service trucks have all the tools needed to get your equipment back up and running so you can keep working,” says Wes.

Customers can also bring their equipment to the Winhara Road location, where they will find great service, as well an updated façade and fresh look that includes updated paint for the iconic Kubota North silo. The strong and bold appearance matches the level of quality the business is well known for.

History of excellence
The family-owned business is operated by Dave and Laura Jackson, and their son Brett, who is the vice-president. With more than 25 employees and counting, Kubota North has built a solid reputation for great products and even better service over the years.

Designed and manufactured in Japan, Kubota’s reputation in Canada is second to none. They have a variety of tractors, mowers, loaders, excavators, UTVs, side-by-sides, and more.

“When you’re on the job, time is money,” says Dave. “Our team will take the time to get you the right equipment, and keep it operating in excellent condition.”

The company has been growing steadily since long before the pandemic. Dave attributes this to the both the reputation of the brand and the willingness of their team to go above and beyond the call of duty.

“We’ll be there with the equipment you need and expert advice, whether your business is big or small,” says Brett. “No matter the customer, we appreciate every single client and strive to make them feel valued.”
