The medical director and owner of Face First Medical Aesthetics and Wellness, Emily leads a team that uses a spectrum of tools and techniques to help their clients achieve their wellness goals. “Whether you are concerned about skin lesions, are struggling to make lifestyle changes affecting your weight, or are embarrassed about incontinence, we’re here to help,” says Emily.
While treatments like neuromodulators such as Botox, pedicures, and facials have aesthetic applications, these treatments can also address greater health concerns. Botox, for example, can be used to treat migraines, spasticity, and excessive sweating.
“I see our client’s treatments as an opportunity to meet each client and truly understand their needs and goals,” Emily says.
“As a Nurse Practitioner, I have the license to diagnose disease, write prescriptions, and refer our clients to specialists if necessary.”
As the medical director of the clinic, Emily meets with every client before giving the order to the nurse performing the treatment. Developing the treatment plans for neuromodulator treatments is akin to prescribing that medication for that client, says Emily, noting that she ensures each treatment plan is suitable for their individual needs.
“We’re here to help you feel comfortable and confident,” she says.

Face First recently added footcare to their services to promote foot health, especially among clients with mobility issues.
While their footcare treatments are relaxing and enjoyable for our clients, Face First’s certified foot care nurse, Keara Sweet, is focused on addressing foot ailments like corns, warts and ingrown toenails that can become painful if left unmanaged. This treatment can be done in the clinic or the client’s home if mobility is a challenge.
