In the growing field of medical aesthetics, it can be overwhelming to know which treatment suits your needs and who you can trust to provide it. Education is a big part of what registered nurse and skin care specialist Christine Bui offers at Enduring Beauty, her Port Carling clinic.
Clients who consult with her are struck by her ability to explain the various treatments she offers. That foundation of trust leads to lasting relationships. Many of her clients see her exclusively, both in Port Carling and at her original Durham clinic, established 10 years ago.
“We’ve been in Port Carling year-round for three years,” Christine says with a warm smile, “and I’m proud of the way small business owners support each other here. It feels good knowing I’ve chosen this community for the long term.”
Christine enjoys treating the women and men who book for a variety of services, including jet peels, a popular cold therapy skin treatment that infuses a radiant glow with zero downtime. The fabulous anti-aging process can be adapted to treat acne, psoriasis, and eczema, too.
“The Radiesse Wash is a biostimulator that enhances skin elasticity,” she explains. “We also do quite a few Sculptra treatments, which helps clients build collagen over a series of treatments.”
Not only does she educate her clients, but Christine frequently pursues additional educational opportunities. As an advanced level injector, she’s aware that the industry changes rapidly. “I learn something new every day,” she says.
Her number one tip for clients of all ages? “Sunscreen. A medical grade sunscreen properly applied preserves our youthful look, and it also protects us from more serious issues like melanoma. It’s a must.”
Rewarding work in a region she loves adds to her own sense of well-being, too. “Self-care is so much more important to both women and men now,” she observes. “It’s really wonderful to see people valuing their skin health as well as their diet and exercise.”
